I have had a strong interest in Real Estate since my early 20’s but as a young single Mom I was dependent on regular paychecks and benefits. I had always wanted to work for myself and was attracted to the idea of freedom and no glass ceiling. In 2008 I was laid off like millions of other of people. At this time, I had an empty nest and decided I would take the chance & pursue my real estate license! It was the best decision I had ever made and could not fathom going back!
The fact that I have directly been in customer service since 1987 and have performed in multiple supervisory positions have all been the greatest influence in my career. I additionally have an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Arts, specializing specifically in commercial art. I believe this has helped immensely in my perception for properly staging for photos, choosing the proper shots, the order they are placed in and any enhancements they may need. At one time I also owned part of an online magazine, so I am also savvy with websites, social media and online presence which is so important in my career today.
In the past I have also worked in 2 different laboratories, one as a technician that tested plastics and in the QA department of a Biopharmaceutical Lab, so deadlines and attention to detail have been instilled in me and bring great value to my Real Estate Career. Since 2002 I’ve had a key role in running a very busy Restaurant and Banquet Hall and since 2020, the Food and Beverage side of a local Country Club. I am accustomed to having many balls in the air at one time, managing staff, customers, and unforeseen problems. As a business owner you must be a creative problem solver, resilient and adaptable to change!
I started my Real Estate career with Keller Williams in 2010 and in 2022 made the exciting move to the REAL! I have an immense amount of respect for Jeff Neilsen, as I have seen him grow from a new agent to running one of the most successful teams in 3 counties! I admire his respect for education, his dedication to his team and clients and his entrepreneurial forward thinking! I’m thrilled to be part of his startup as he embarks on this new journey!
My favorite part of being an agent is the opportunity to be a part of such big moments in people’s lives! I live vicariously through their excitement. I find Real Estate to be very rewarding and it brings great personal satisfaction to me. I have met so many wonderful people and have made such great friends through it all.
When I am not selling homes, I enjoy spending time with friends and family; wining, dining and traveling! I enjoy quiet moments, the sound of rain, rolling thunder, the sounds of a summer night and most especially the sound of the ocean. I also treasure the time I spend with my son AND my puppy!
